AI, Sensors and Robotics in Plant Phenotyping and Precision Agriculture

The Global Plant Council and Frontiers in Plant Science have partnered to host a webinar entitled, “AI, Sensors and Robotics in Plant Phenotyping and Precision Agriculture.”

The webinar will feature as key speakers the winners of the 2022 Global Plant Council Prize, Yongliang Qiao (University of Sydney) and João Valente (Wageningen University).

Yongliang Qiao will be giving a talk on “Artificial Intelligence and Robotics-based Plant Phenotyping for Smart Agriculture.”

João Valente will then speak about “Agro-Food Aerial Robotics: Towards Close-range Perception and Interaction.”

Also speaking will be Isabel Mendoza-Poudereux, Chief Communications Officer at The Global Plant Council, who will discuss The Global Plant Council’s values and the activities they are organizing to achieve its goals.
