The Association of Applied Biologists (AAB) is a learned-society and charity that works to promote the study and advancement of all branches of Biology and in particular to foster the practice, growth and development of applied biology. Their primary activity is in organisation of events that promote the interests of nine specialist groups, amounting to up to 10 annual events that are in-person, hybrid and fully virtual. AAB owns two peer-reviewed scientific journals; the Annals of Applied Biology and the Plant Biotechnology Journal. AAB has a global membership of approximately 500 people and we encourage new interactions from anyone who has an interest in applied biology. If you have any questions about AAB activities please contact the Executive Officer Dr Geraint Parry.
