The Portuguese Society of Plant Physiology (Portuguese: Sociedade Portuguesa de Fisiologia Vegetal; SPFV) was founded in 1977 as an affiliate of the Portuguese Biochemical Society (Sociedade Portuguesa de Bioquímica; SPB). It congregates scientists and graduate students within the area of plant biology, in particular, plant physiology, biochemistry, and molecular biology.
