Marchantia has become an established model in plant science, contributing to advances in molecular genetics, development, physiology, and evolutionary biology. The growing body of work has positioned Marchantia as an important system for addressing fundamental questions in land plant biology. The organizers seek to promote close communication among researchers, encourage collaborative projects, and support constructive scientific exchange, all in a friendly and supportive research environment.
This workshop would also be useful to anyone with interest in starting Marchantia work as it provides an excellent opportunity to network and exchange ideas and resources with international members of the liverwort community.
The workshop will take place at the Integrated Research Center of Kobe University, Kobe, Japan. at the end of November. Deadline for On-site Participation & Abstract Submission is the 31st of July. Online participation available.
