XV Meeting of the Spanish Society of In Vitro Cultivation of Plant Tissues

The Spanish Society of In Vitro Cultivation of Plant Tissues (Sociedad Española de Cultivo In Vitro de Tejidos Vegetales, SECIVTV) invites anyone interested in the subject to its XV Meeting, which will be held from September 6th to 8th, 2023 in Lleida, jointly organized by the University of Lleida (UdL) and the Institute of Agro-food Research and Technology (IRTA).

The objective of the XV SECIVTV Meeting is to create a dynamic and interactive environment where advances in the areas of in vitro cultivation of plant tissues can be shared and presented. The meeting will consist of Plenary Conferences, Oral Sessions, Poster Presentations, and discussion forums on topics related to in vitro culture of plant cells and tissues: micropropagation, sanitation, somatic embryogenesis, embryo rescue, haploid production, genetic transformation and editing, organ and suspension cell culture, etc., with the active participation of companies in the sector. The meeting has as its theme “In Vitro Plants for a Better World”.
