The Royal Society of Biology (RSB) is a single unified voice for biology: advising Government and influencing policy; advancing education and professional development; supporting our members, and engaging and encouraging public interest in the life sciences. The Society represents a diverse membership of individuals, learned societies and other organisations.
The RSB Plant Science Group is currently comprised of 18 RSB Member Organisations with an interest in the plant sciences. The RSB also maintains the Plant Health professional register, which was created in partnership with Defra to recognise individuals with skills and experience that align with the current Plant Biosecurity Strategy for Great Britain. The RSB runs a number of annual events focused on plant health, as well as publishing a monthly Plant Science Newsletter.
