The Chinese Society for Plant Biology (ChSPB), established in October 1963, now has 12 special committees under its umbrella, covering all plant biology fields. Currently, its membership boasts more than 4800, ranging from regional plant physiology societies and professional plant physiology groups throughout major cities and autonomous regions of 28 provinces nationwide.
