The Slovenian Society of Plant Biology is a voluntary scientific and professional association that gathers experts in various fields of plant biology, including ecology, botany, physiology, molecular biology, biotechnology, agronomy, and forestry. The society organises a quadrennial scientific meeting with international participation, coordinates national activities related to the Fascination of Plants Day and organises regular scientific lectures by national and international experts.
