SUMMARY:Plant Synthetic Biology Conference
DESCRIPTION:The Plant Synthetic Biology Conference will take place in Barcelona\, Spain on September 19-21\, 2022. \nThis Conference is jointly organised by CRAG (Barcelona\, Spain) and the CEPLAS-Cluster of Excellence on Plant Sciences\, University of Düsseldorf (Germany). The meeting will bring together global leaders in the field and it will cover the most recent advances in plant synthetic biology\, with an emphasis on enabling technologies for reprogramming plant cells\, current agricultural and industrial applications\, the development of new green models and several perspectives on the ethical and societal aspects of synthetic biology. \nThe Plant Synthetic Biology Conference offers a great platform for interaction and the opportunity to discuss new ideas\, challenges and opportunities in the field. It also offers the chance for young synthetic biologists to present their work and interact with other mindlike individuals. \nScientific and Organizing Committee: \n\nJae-Seong Yang (CRAG Researcher)\nMatias Zurbriggen (CEPLAS\, HHU Professor)\nIvan Reyna-Llorens (CRAG Researcher)\nJulia Qüesta (CRAG Researcher)\nNicolás Bologna (CRAG Researcher)\nUriel Urquiza-Garcia (CEPLAS\, HHU Researcher)\nMiguel Miñambres Martin (CEPLAS\, HHU Researcher)\n\nConfirmed Keynote and invited speakers: \n\nDanny Ducat (Michigan State University\, East Lansing\, MI\, USA)\nGuido Grossmann (Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf\, Heidelberg\, Germany)\nZachary Lippman (Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory\, NY\, USA)\nAmy Marshall-Colon (University of Illinois\, Urbana\, ILL\, USA)\nVera Meyer (Technical University of Berlin\, Germany)\nNaomi Nakayama (Imperial College\, London\, UK)\nSara O´Connor (Max Planck Institute for Chemical Ecology\, Jena\, Germany)\nVictor de Lorenzo (CNB\, Madrid\, Spain)\nDiego Orzaez (IBMCP\, Valencia\, Spain)\nNicola Patron (Earlham Institute\, Norwich\, UK)\nMarkus Pauly (Heinrich Heine Universität Düsseldorf\, Düsseldorf\, Germany)\nKaren Sarkisyan (Imperial College London\, London\, UK)\nMichael Schroda (TU Kaiserslautern\, Germany)\nRichard Smith (The John Innes Centre\, Norwich\, UK)
